Thank You For The Wishes and Pray

Actually, just want to thank you to all of you who make this year's birthday is so hard to be forgotten. Hehe..
The day before my bday, I went to church and some of choir members had given me a congrats to my b-day that actually comes tomorrow. Then, afternoon I went to Orchard with my friends and continued to Bugis, to meet my bro and his girl. They treat me, as if I had my birthday on that day. It was because they maybe very busy on the weekdays.. They gave me a T-shirt and posted notes, which has some words, "Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage, be strong. 1 Corithians 16:13)". This one, actually very tiring and should come to school in the morning.. Zzz...

When come the day of my bday, I had class in the morning. Some of them had greet me in the class. The class was very very boring. I also dont understand what my lecturer said. Went out from the class, my friends was waiting for me already!! They brought Birthday cakes for me but without fire to light on the candles. --a

I waited them because they had class in the afternoon. I waited them until 3 PM. In that time, I just went around, chatting, browsing, etc..

After they finished, I went to canteen with them. We played card, ate the remaining cakes & did nothing to end the day.. Haha.. Until, everything is finished by an angry uncle that forbid us to play card.. zZzzZzz..

Actually, I didnt expect of this kind of event, I am thinking about Birthday means Time that is given from God is reduced one year more, did I wasting that time or INVESTING it?? But anyway, thank you for all of you. Thanks for my bro, Iwan and his girlfriend Elaine. Aan, Erna, Fandy, Flo, Vaness, Olga, Carrie, and Spore friends who gave me surprise little party, and everyone who gives me pray, wishes, greetings thourgh Email, SMS, Friendster, Facebook, etc.

First Day of 2nd Year

Continuing from previous story.
15 September has gone with a lot of story from Singapore and first day back to campus.
Quite interesting about this 1st day so I would like to tell the story..

Hmm.. 1st day is always late. Yes, my 1st class for Monday is Management Science Method (MSM). It started 8.30 AM, I woke up at about 7.30.. Take shower, get some milk and I left home at about 8.00 AM. The bus came at 8.15.. So I arrived at school about 8.45.. Late 15 mins..
When I entered the class, OMG! I notice most of them are Singaporean (it is not like before that most of the students are Indo!). I know only some of my friends about 4 people. The others I do not know. Maybe they are 3rd student.. Oh ya my lecturer's name is David Quek (he is not one of trio kwek2 yah.. =p)..
I think this subject is similar with statistics. Some introduction and essay were tought at the first lecture. But after that more calculation are given. Yah 3 hours of lecture is quite boring, moreover it is theory based.. Hahaha.. Oh ya, my lecture note for MSM is about 10 cm thick!! Imagine by yourself yah.. hahaha..

After lecture, I had lunch at campus. I met some of my friends.. Yah, long time no see, some are changed. I mean he looks fatter, or taller. Some I dont recognized him at first. Yah we had some joke, after long time no see and share about our holiday.. Maybe only me who get internship for holiday.. hahaha..

One of my friend still has his bad habbit. haha. Sleep at 6 AM in the morning. I think last night, he played Dota until morning. Then when I came to his flat, he still slept (it's 3 PM).. It was quite embarassing. hahaha.. My first purpose to come to his flat was waiting for Aan finishing his class. I and Gogok wants to go to his house to see a new comer. haha..
But at 4 PM. Aan called me, that all of them will go to Holland Vi, Gogok wanted to go if the new comer joint.. Finally, he joint with me and Aan and the others.. We were sharing, gigling, etc during that time..

Until about 7PM, we went to Cold Storage and bought some food. I and Gogok decided to go to Aan's house. Unfortunately, we could not see the new comer. T.T" So, we just talking, joking with Erna also. Quite fun, everything was gone out. And we had a very good time. Though some time, I did not understand what they talked about because of languange barrier (they talked sometime in Sundanese.. Hahaha)..

I reached home finally at 9 PM.. Quite tired, but fun everytime..

Today I learn to have fun with others and share what I feel for the last 3 months. Tomorrow I make a difference..

15 September is coming to town

Yeah, it means that I will go back to Singapore and continue my study at SIM. It is already more than 3 months holiday! I hope I wont regret what I have done in the past 3 months.

2 big events during holiday are trip to Sydney for Journey of Faith WYD 2008 and internship in my uncle's company.

I will tell my story during my internship, is that OK? You can't answer no, because the author is me. Hahahaha..

Before I go to Sydney, I have 2 weeks of internship and 1 week of Super Teen camp. During this 2 weeks, I work as administration staff (this is what they write in my recommedation letter.. Haha). Oh ya, my company is called PT Ditek Jaya. It is a distributor for laboratory equipment and research from Shidmadzu Japan.

My job actually quite simple. I must control goods that come in and come out. I can check it from Delivery Notes, Retur Notes, Material Request, Sales Order, etc.. I think during this period of time, my duty is not very heavy. During this 2 weeks, from 10 hours of working, my effective time maybe only 4-6 hours and the rest is just chatting (it's still holiday period), browsing, etc.. So sometimes I am very boring because instead working and doing nothing I can entertain myself by playing DOTA in warnet, rite?? But last day of working, my uncle gives me some "angpao" for this 2 weeks. haha

After go back from Sydney, I take a rest for 1-2 weeks then I go back to PT Ditek for continuing internship (my parents scold me because I do nothing at home). I say to my uncle, "can i move to marketing? I am very bored as admin staff very few that I can learn", He says "you need to study the equipment first, before you can sell this!". I am working for 4 weeks. Good news come when I arrive at the office. My supervisor says "you move to level 5, so you can directly learn the equipment." For your information, admin office is located at level 3, warehouse is located at level 5. Guess what, it worse than before. 10 hours of working, 9 hours of playing, chatting, and kaskus. I play tkatki.net until lv 20. after that, I stuck.. >,<

Second weeks, my uncle goes to Australia & my supervisor goes to Surabaya. I know my uncle goes but I dont know my supervisor goes to Sby. I know it after I go to lv 3 just to say Happy Bday to Bu Maria. Knowing my supervisor goes to Sby, so I ask my senior from admin, is there anything that I can help, he says Many!!! So, after ask permission from my senior at lv 5, I come back to lvl 3. I help for recap things and updating "stock program". Because today is Bu Maria's bday, she treats all level 3 and 5 staffs for lunch at Ta Wan Citraland. At 2 PM, I arrive back at office. My friends ask me to join them watching Batman at Senayan. Still because I have nothing to do, my supervisor is going to Sby, so I say YES! Please pick me up at Kedoya. 2.30 PM they pick me up.. It quite makes some of my friends jealous. hahaha.. So I watch 3.15 PM Batman.

Next day, I become wilder. Waiting for nothing. I have nothing to do. Until 12 PM (lunch break time). Still I dont have nothing to do. So I RUN AWAY!! Since the office is quite empty. Hahahaha, actually I very scare to run away. But, doing nothing makes me crazy you know. As usuall, my hobby is playing dota so I go to warnet again.. (Please, anybody who are doing internship you cant do this!!).

Next day, my supervisor comes back so I go back to lvl 5. Friday, I come back to lvl 3, I say to my supervisor, "Sir, can i go back to here? There is no much space left at warehouse, and I have nothing to do there." He says, "actually you should move already to Sales division." Then he talks to sales manager, Sales Manager says OK! So Next week I work as Sales Staff. Oh ya, today my laptop get Spyware!! Gosh...!!!! Damn it.!! I must reformat it.!!

Third week of working, I move to Sales division or Marketing division. What I dont expect is when I go to my senior at Sales division. He already prepares me a bulky tasks to do. He asks me to change the Master Quotation. So, the old one is still using the 4 digits account no. I need to change to the new one that uses 7 digits for account no.. I am using my supervisor laptop as mine is out of service!! I thought it was very simple. But I very many many many Quotation to be changed!!! It takes 3 days to finish it.. So, there is so much to do at sales. hahaha.. I thanks for that! Next two days, I help my senior check the Sales Order to be moved from email to folder and recap it. It takes 2 days and more a lil bit..

A lil bit , it means the Monday of the 4th week. I get news that my senior wont come today, he is sick (it is the first day of fasting). I take his table to finishing recap then I help another sales person to make "surat dukungan" (it is a kind of statement letter). 2 days sitting at his table makes me famous as 2nd Andre (my senior).. Hahaha. When he comes on the 3rd day, he gives me more works to do with "surat dukungan". On that day, I need to make 10 "surat dukungan". The problem is there are many many many attachment to be given for every letter. The attachment at least 25 pages for one equipment, if two equipments it will be more attachments.

Thursday morning, he gives 23 tenders to be made statement letters!! Every tenders is two equipments!! At first, I quite OK, but when he tells the attachments for every tender is very very much. 2 days to finish this, and many praise and mock are heard from this. From my supervisor, "When you are at admin, you are never very active like this." From admin staff, "Just bring the printer to your table." (Oh ya, from my laptop I cant print to sales' printer so i need printing at admin). From Bu Maria, "You keep give me a bulky items to be signed." "Alfons, are you duet with Andre? After I finish sign yours, Andre's work is coming, and it keeps coming." It happens for two days. Though tired, but I really thankful for this. At the end, I do one box of paper for this 2 days working. Bu Maria do one box of signing.. I think I can also work at photocopy center. Hahaha..

Fifth week, or last week. I learn the flow of Sales Order to be made. From Purchase Order from outside. I process it to check the price and ask for sign. Sent it back, scan it, and then finally make it Sales Order. Oh ya, I help to write specifications of equipments in excel mode. So I learn something from this. Maybe next year, I can go around for presentation.. Hahaha..

Today I learn how to talk with people especially supervisor and senior, and I learn to work as a staff in a new company.

Tomorrow, I make a difference
